Baiyun API complete learning map
When using Baiyun API for the first time, it is recommended to first complete the account and key, then select a client for minimal testing, and finally learn billing and development integration. This series is edited and compiled by Baiyun Community, with each article supplemented by operational checks, fault diagnosis, and practical exercises; API site documentation is used for quick parameter lookup and request copying.
Stage One: Account and First Request
First, read about registration and login, quick start, creating API keys, and model pricing. After third-party authorization, you still need to complete the email verification code and password settings; Before calling, confirm the DK balance and keep the key safe.
Stage Two: Choose Your Own Tools
For regular chat, choose Cherry Studio, Chatbox, or Open WebUI; When programming with the Codex CLI, select the Responses protocol. Cursor, Claude Code, CodeBuddy, Trae, etc., should first verify the current version of the protocol and custom vendor support; do not treat all clients as the same interface.
Stage Three: Development, billing, and inspection
From the smallest curl to Python/Node.js, then understanding tokens, DKs, principal, and channel fees. First, check the request and log, then add the framework or tool. Error codes and status monitoring help narrow down the scope of the problem; The status page does not represent your own consumption records.

Self-inspection after completion
You should be able to independently create and revoke a key, explain the address you use with your tool, complete a text call, find the corresponding spending record, distinguish between DK and RMB, and know where to check status and troubleshoot errors. You don't need to read all the client tutorials at once—just pick the one you use.
