Pagoda panel: After installation, see where and what to store

Understand the entry points for websites, files, databases, and software management, and distinguish between the Baota backend and the WordPress backend.

The pagoda is like the management console of this remote computer

You can open the Pagoda in your browser and use lists and buttons to view the status of websites, files, databases, and software on the server. It helps you manage your environment; WordPress is the software used to publish blog content. The two are not the same backend, nor do they necessarily use the same set of accounts and passwords. The installation panel will not automatically produce your product. Installing WordPress, creating themes or plugins, and preparing payment instructions are still the next steps.

Let the AI check the current status before installation

Please first check whether the pagoda, other management panels, websites, and databases are already available. If there is already a service, explain how to keep it. After confirming the machine is suitable for installation, I will operate it according to the current official installation instructions of the pagoda and provide the results I can verify.

Do not copy a string of installation commands from unknown webpages and execute them directly. Installation methods and supported system versions may vary, so let AI compare the official portal with your actual Ubuntu version. If you already have panels, prioritize using and inspecting existing installations, and do not overlay duplicates.

After installation, keep the entrance intact

Baota login addresses may contain protocols, IP or domain names, ports, and secure entry paths. For example, colons and slashes in the demo address may be useful, so you can't just copy the previous IP. The full address that the AI actually returns and you can open is the standard. Save the "Pagoda login address, Pagoda username, and Pagoda password" respectively. Additionally, save the server connection method and WordPress backend address, and specify the purpose of each group. If you forget a password, first identify which login set you are using and avoid repeatedly resetting all accounts.

First, get to know four commonly used positions

• Website: Each website corresponds to a record, allowing you to view bound domain names, file directories, and runtime settings.
• Files: Like a file manager on a remote computer. Before uploading, deleting, or extracting, make sure to check the current directory.
• Database: View the data cabinets used by the website. Articles and settings may be here; deleting them affects the content.
• Software Management: Check whether supporting software such as Nginx, PHP, and MySQL is installed and running. The names of different panel versions may vary slightly.

The CPU, memory, disk, etc. in server mode reflect the computer's usage. When the numbers are high, let AI explain the reasons; Don't delete things you don't know what they're for just because they see something occupied.

Closing the panel page does not close the website

The panel page is your window to view the dashboard; closing it usually doesn't stop the already running site. On the contrary, clicking to stop service, delete websites, or delete databases in the panel may actually affect operation. The close button in the browser is not the same as the stop button in the panel.

Open the pagoda yourself and verify whether the websites and software mentioned by AI actually exist. Learning "where to look at results" for the first time is more useful than memorizing all technical terms. If login timeouts occur, check the full address and access restrictions; Don't let go of all ports just to open the panel.
