Baota API and skills: Let AI handle things, and you can verify them on the panel

API is the entry point for software operations, and skill is a reusable operation manual; First, verify read-only connections, then arrange modifications.

What is the relationship between APIs and panel web pages?

Click "Websites" in the panel to see the list of websites. APIs (entry points for software to read information and submit operations) allow AI tools to make similar requests to panels through programs. It does not automatically grant permissions, nor is it a "universal chat URL." The correct address, key, and access restrictions must be configured before AI can make a call. The specific API settings, supported operations, and authentication methods should be checked against the Baota version you actually installed. Don't assume that AI can safely perform all installation, deletion, and recovery operations just because it can read website lists.

When configuring, first distinguish three things

• Panel address: Where to find this panel for AI, you should keep the required protocol, port, and entry information.
• API key: allows the panel to identify the caller's secret, which is different from the browser login password.
• Access whitelist: which network addresses are allowed to call. It's like the gatekeeper only allowing the source on the list to enter.

Whitelists usually require you to provide the exit IP (the source address seen by the other party) of the machine that actually performed the API call. When AI runs on another machine, this IP may differ from your own computer. Let AI first verify the source; don't fill in 'Allow Everyone' just for convenience.

The first time is a read-only test

Please read the Baota API connection from the private configuration, and first only read the website list and system status. Do not create, delete, or restart. List the website name, domain name, and runtime status you read, and let me check with the panel. Do not display the key in your reply.

Check each item item in the panel website list. Only after confirming that the device is returned is the real website currently available does it indicate that the connection is initially available. When a connection fails, have the AI check the address, network, authentication, and whitelist separately, retain useful error information, and do not reveal the key.

What exactly is a skill?

skill (instructions for AI reuse) are like operation manuals. It can explain: which tool to use, how to find private settings, what to check first, what to do, how to verify results, and how to handle failures. It's not a place to store all passwords, nor is it enough to write "You can operate now" and it works. The skill section for this lesson can start with five sections: connection configuration location, read-only check method, website creation process, important operation boundaries, and inspection and recovery methods. First, save the teacher's actual steps and then reuse them item by item.

You can set the AI's organizing requirements

By default, read first. Before modifying, clearly state the target website, its scope of impact, and recovery methods. After each operation, write the check steps in the panel and browser. Do not claim that untested interfaces are already available.

After saving, in a new use, have the AI read the website list according to this instructions to see if the verified method is truly being reused.

What results can be seen through visual control?

New websites will appear in the list; Uploaded files can be found in the directory; After the database is created, there are corresponding records; The software running status can be viewed on the panel. The panel doesn't show every business detail written by AI, so buttons, email forms, and the purchase process still require you to open the website and try them out. Combining "Panel Verification" with "Visitor Trial" is the key to knowing whether the change has taken effect.
