HTTPS, port, and login address: which door is used for whom

Understand encrypted access, certificates, and various backend entrances. A secure browser connection does not mean the order has been paid.
HTTPS is first understood as encrypted transmission
HTTPS (the encrypted access method between browsers and websites) can reduce the risk of information being spied on or tampered with during transmission. When a website starts with https://, the browser will also check the certificate used on the website (an electronic proof to help confirm the name of the connected host). Certificates usually verify that you control the domain name and need to be renewed. The principle is worth seeing Official explanation from Let's Encrypt。 When having AI configure certificates, it also explains the expiration check and renewal methods, rather than just making the page open today.
How to enable AI to enable HTTPS
Please check that the domain name points to the correct website, then configure a valid certificate and HTTPS for your blog. Check whether the name, validity period, renewal method, and webpage resources covered by the certificate are all normal. Save the current configuration first so it does not affect other websites. Give me the address I can open directly.
Different panels will have entry points for applying for certificates, selecting domain names, and verification methods. Operate according to your actual version. If the certificate application fails, first check the domain name, network, and verification results. Do not assume "ignore browser error" as a successful configuration.
The entrances are like different entrances within the same building
In demo addresses like https://example.com:12345/, the number after the colon is called the port (the entry number for different network services). The numbers here are just examples, not your actual panel ports. Ordinary HTTP websites commonly use 80, HTTPS sites commonly use 443; SSH and panels each have their own entry points and may be changed to different numbers. As long as the actual address is fully saved, beginners don't need to dieback the panel port. Access restrictions should be configured according to purpose: visitors need to view the website, administrators and AI must manage according to authorization.
You need to save three sets of entrances
- Blog Front End: The webpage where readers view articles and products, usually without the need for administrator login.
- WordPress backend: Pages for publishing content, managing themes and plugins. The common path is /wp-admin/.
- Baota backend: Panel entry for managing website environment, files, and databases, may have special ports and paths.
Clearly write the address, account purpose, and password storage location for each of the three entry points. Do not use the server root password to test all backends, and do not include backend passwords in the instructions provided to buyers.
Encryption and receiving payments are two different things
HTTPS means the connection is encrypted and cannot prove that the payment code on the page belongs to you, that the product has been delivered, or that the money has arrived. Payments must still be verified against your actual transaction records; There are different ways to check "Browser did not report error" and "This order was successful."
Inspection steps and common questions
Open the https address and confirm that the browser has no certificate warning; Check whether the homepage, images, and background login are working properly. If the text is normal but the image does not display, let the AI check resource addresses and mixed content (HTTPS pages still request insecure HTTP resources). Try switching to another browser. If the backend can't be opened, provide the full address and phenomenon to AI, first distinguishing whether it's name resolution, port restrictions, certificates, or login credentials. Clarifying problems makes it less likely to correct the wrong places.
